ANAN partners CPA Australia with Member Pathway Agreement

The Association of National Accountants of Nigeria has signed a Member Pathway Agreement with Certified Public Accountants (CPA) of Australia to enable reciprocal membership of both bodies.

The partnership is based on the common interests shared by both bodies in enhancing accountant’s global relevance and advancement of the accountancy profession.

The two bodies who are full members of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) will jointly promote the membership pathways to both parties and commit to compliance with the International Education Standards (IES) set out from time to time IFAC.

In line with the agreement, CPA Australia will admit members who have successfully completed ANAN Qualification examinations and practical work requirements, provide other relevant documentation required by CPA Australia, undertaken and successfully completed CPA Australia’s professional qualification subjects in Financial Reporting, Strategic Management Accounting, Global Strategy, and Leadership.

Reciprocally, ANAN will admit as its non-practicing member, any full member of CPA Australia who has successfully completed the CPA program from CPA Australia, relevant ANAN Qualification examinations, provide other relevant documentation required by ANAN, undertaken and successfully completed ANAN professional qualification subjects in Public Sector Accounting and Forensic Accounting.
